It was always a ploy to get Husker fans to come to Boulder. And it worked

Not to mention all the revenue from the Mary Jane sold

Personally, I think they left money on the table. Lots of vendors ran out of beer, water etc. I would've gladly gotten a couple more beers or some concessions if it weren't for that.
