What would be your definition of a good game w/ TEXAS? Neb jumps on them from the gun never looks back NEB 42 tex 0? or............close game from kickoff, game winning field goal by congdon w/ 1 sec left NEB 3 tex 0? I will hang-up and listen to your comments!!

The close game would look better for both schools. A blowout would make it look like one of the schools is overrated and the voters will not give much credit to the winner. However, a close game will make it look good in the eyes of the voters as the loser showed they can hang with a good team, and the winner can put another good team away.

 
id rather see a close game.. not too close.. 2 scores up at all times , but we pull it off.. Close games scare me , so 2 scores is good..

 
Two ways I can call this a good game.

1 - Any nebraska win.

2 - A very close down to the end of the 4th game. Even if it is a loss. The Tech game last year for instance, that was a great game. It would have been better if Smith sits down though.

 
How about a triple-overtime game, where there are long stretches of defensive stands and spurts of offensive explosions.

Here's the play, 4th and 2 from the 12. Glenn and Jackson in the pro-set. Jackson splits out wide, "HIKE" Glenn up the middle.....dogpile....wait he doesn't have the ball! Taylor rolls left and hits Herian in the back left corner of the endzone (circa '96 with James Brown).

I'll take a close game, more fun to watch. NU will most likely not blow UT's doors off, as much as I would like them too. I am way too excited though! 18 hours +

 
A good game to me is one that is back and fourth, no matter what the score is, and everyone is in it. I hope it's a close game tommorrow though. I can't wait!!!!!!!

 
I have to agree. A close game is preferred even if NU loses. Even though a loss would suck, knowing it came down to the wire and either we couldn't convert a long field goal or UT had to score a winning FG in the final seconds would say a lot about our program. :bonez

 
A win would be great, but if it's a close loss I'm ok with that too. Anyways we'll probably see them again in the Big 12 Champioship and I'd rather beat them there. 2 wins would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as we play to the best of our ability and do not give the game away I will say that we win the game. If texass does the same thing and wins then i will tip my hat to them.

lets show the world the the Huskers have been under rated all year. i would love to hear the espn annoucers tomorrow after noon say "This just in, Nebraska has scored again"

I know it will not happen but I would love for the skers to hang a large number on tejass

but if Nu plays mistake free football and still loses, i will still be proud to be a HUSKER

 
I agree now. I've changed my mind from a close game. It has been a LONG TIME since we have dominated a REAL OPPONENT. (No, La-Tech, Maine and Western Illinois don't count). I wouldn't mind seeing a complete blowout by Nebraska leaving pretty much the entire sports media world baffled.

I know it's wishful thinking, but would be beautiful.

 
Yeah just remember that if we win, the media will focus on how Texas lost the game, not how the Huskers are back...... :hmmm
