The drawback of a longer cleat is players are more susceptible to knee injuries when they cut or when DBs hit you low.Equipment manager said it was his cleats, and that he changed shoes during the game, but then had trouble with the wet conditions. Even though, the Mizzou game was way worse and i didnt see him slipping as much.
Currenski just needs to learn how to slow down when the field isn't to his liking. He already has the advantage, because he knows which direction he is going to take to get to the ball. The defensive back doesn't.
