It appears that digging up the Ortiz jersey has released David Ortiz from a curse that backfired. The construction worker buried the jersey in hopes of cursing the Yankees. But before jersey was dug up Ortiz had one of the three worst averages in baseball and after it was dug up he got his mojo back and started hitting again. Not a fan of either team but I think that is interesting.
