Because NBA players get so much...this seems a bit light!  

Which is nuts...good for him!  2 year is the way to go because all he needs is for next season to be "good" and then he is gonna get that fat 4 year 25 million dollar deal.

 
Wow...a protected SECOND round pick. Usually don't see second round picks get the protection. It's usually just lottery top-5 type protections.

 
The first several years of the Hoiberg era are so odd.

Exhibit A: Banton got benched.  Now has a successful NBA career.   :dunno
