No he actually didn’t. 8/15 115 yards. The 4th string QB at Iowa did it yesterday

He did actually. He was not a very good QB. But most of his incompletions was due to pressure or guys we’re not open. We got a lot of pressure. If he had the time Dylan got or had guys wide open I bet he connects on a few.No he actually didn’t. 8/15 115 yards.
Why not? This was your quote so why shouldn’t it carry over to anyone on the field starting.but the standard should not be the same for a 4th string practice qb vs a 5 star starter
Was DR never under pressure? According to the box score NU had 1 sack and 1 QBH while Iowa had 4 sacks and 5 QBH’sHe did actually. He was not a very good QB. This is not just a qb issue. I don't know why you keep beating on this. If you look at our depth chart there is a lot of young players on the 2 deep. Neyor & Fidoni have been horrible. Along with Benhadt & our LS.Big picture I think he has potential to be very good. But he was not good enough this year. If he is still doing some of the dumb s#!t next year I’ll be ready to move on. Bad footwork, missing open receivers, not throwing to open receivers.
I don’t think he is bad, I just said it’s not good enough. But some of you can’t handle criticism.
Yeah them 3 suck. But no one argues that. This is not just a qb issue. I don't know why you keep beating on this. If you look at our depth chart there is a lot of young players on the 2 deep. Neyor & Fidoni have been horrible. Along with Benhadt & our LS.
Martinez ran better.Yeah them 3 suck. But no one argues that.
Some on here it seems like they want to defend Dylan because he was the savior 5 star.
But if we are being real, Martinez had a better freshman season. So let’s hope Dylan develops are passes him in sophomore production
From a pure production standpoint he was responsible for 27 tds. 3400 yards.Martinez ran better.
LOL. Nice straw man. I haven’t found ANYONE on here who says DR doesn’t have lots of room to grow and get better. But some of you can’t handle criticism
I think most understand that. I do. My gripe is if anyone says anything about Dylan you can count on a handful of folks ready to defend his honor. He needs to get better. That’s the summary of my opinion.LOL. Nice straw man. I haven’t found ANYONE on here who says DR doesn’t have lots of room to grow and get better.
What people HAVE done is point out he played HS football last year and mental mistakes, miss throws, late reads, etc should be expected. And that it’s a MR coaching decision on why DR played this year vs someone else on the roster or brining in a transfer. We got the good with the bad while playing a true freshmen QB and relying on him to win games.
And that kid from Nebraska wasn’t playing out of necessity because there was no one better. The Head Coach is solely responsible for who his on the roster, so like I said before, it’s a HC issue that DR was the starter all year long not DR.Playing Dylan was the staff choice from day 1. That kid from Iowa was playing out of necessity because apparently the top 3-4 guys had injuries.
I agree with you hereIt does bother me the staff won’t ever be critical of him. Seems like kid gloves to me like they are afraid he will transfer

Bingo.LOL. Nice straw man. I haven’t found ANYONE on here who says DR doesn’t have lots of room to grow and get better.
