NFL: Former Nebraska player Daniel Bullocks out for season

ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Detroit Lions will put second-year safety Daniel Bullocks, a former Nebraska player, on injured reserve after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Bullocks was to start at free safety this season after leading all NFC rookie defensive backs with 70 tackles last season.

damnit! he was such a good player for us and had a great start to his NFL career. I truly hope he makes it back to full speed.

I saw a preseason game where Bullocks rang Ocho Cinco's bell real good. Too bad he is gonna have to sit this year.
