Just got in a heated discussion/argument with an MU fan at the bar. Of course he was shoving in my face the past year. Me shoving the past 30+!

But...it got me in the mood for September!!! It can't get here soon enough!!!

Dear Lord, the battles we go through life,

We ask for a chance that's fair

A chance to equal our stride,

A chance to do or dare

If we should win, let it be by the code,

Faith and Honor held high

If we should lose, we'll stand by the road,

And cheer as the winners go by

Day by Day, we get better and better!

btw, the argument started with my comment of:

"So I personally think when they were deciding on the Heisman candidates they said, 'Okay, we have Tebow....we have McFadden.....sh#t! Who else can we get? Everyone else sucked this year...ummm.....let's grab that guy from MU! What's his name again?"

hahah, well he was a cousin of a friend of mine who I had just met that night. He happened to overhear us talking about college football (I was with two other Husker fans) and he decided to chime in. It was all in good fun. But it got me hyped up for this fall!!!! I love football season when I can argue this stuff everyday with people!

 
When we go down there again in 2009 we need to really kick some serious tail. If we lose to them again it'll mean we only beat them on their turf once this entire decade . . . and that just is not right.
