This guy looks like a steal. He has the size, the speed, and the look to be a great DB. He could be the steal of the class.

Wilson grew up watching Nebraska football with his family, so playing for the Big Red Machine has become a dream come true.

1) What are your first impressions of this recruit (speed, strength, character, leadership, grades, etc)?

Definitely looks like he could step in and contribute right away, which is something we need. I think he's a 3 to play 3 guy, too, so we'll get 3 playing years out of him. He needs to beef up a bit, but could start out at safety for us since we only have 3 scholarship safeties I believe.

2) Rank his importance to the Huskers 1-10 (10 the most important).

7. We need DBs who can step in right away. Reggie Smith would've been better, but I'll take Wilson outta the JUCO ranks.

3) Will he contribute right away? In what capacity?

He will. I don't know if he'll start, but he'll contribute on special teams if anything. We don't want to burn a year on a redshirt for a 3 to play 3 guy like him and Hardy.

Couldn't tell ya.

5) Where do you see this player in 2009?

Gone.

How hard is it to pass a damn test. These are the type of kid that thinks everyhting will be handed to them

 
So is Wilson in or not. He took his final on Friday right? How long does it take to report final grades. Especially for something as important as qualifying acedemically to attend a four year university. Any new news??

I wonder if he failed since it's taking so long.

 
They have him listed on the 2005 roster as number 28. They also have both Picou's. Don't know if they put that in there to anticipate they are going to make it and then change it if they don't.
