Sounds like the new staff are recruiting him as a defensive back (which his dad seems to agree with).

Will likely visit in March but unsure when.

 
Planning to visit Kansas State, Wisconsin and Minnesota this spring.

Said he has the best relationships with coaches at Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin.

Planning to take all five OVs and probably won't commit until after his season.

 
Was there for Junior Day today.

Says he didn't think he'd be back for the Spring Game because he thought he'd get more out of coming back for another practice sometime.

Visiting Kansas State next week.  Also planning to visit Iowa State and Wisconsin.  Minnesota also in the mix but no future visit set up there right now.

 
Visited Wisconsin, Kansas State and Iowa State this spring.  

Said he's still considering coming to the spring game but hasn't decided yet.

There have been rumblings that this staff really likes sprinters as defensive backs and, if Benning lacks top end speed, they might not be as interested.

 
No visits set yet but is looking at his options.  Might take a couple this month then a couple in the fall.

Iowa and Nebraska said to be likely candidates for a visit.  KState as well.

 
Unofficially visited this morning.  Sounds like both sides weren't sure how interested the other is.  Apparently they know both know the other side is interested.  He's working on setting up an OV later this month.  But not looking to decide until later this fall.

He sent quite awhile with Cooper and watched a lot of film.  Benning said he thought he learned some things that he'll work on once he's fully healthy.
