Favorites: Signed with West Virginia

Rankings/Stars:

Rivals: #19/ :star :star :star

Bid Red Report:#24/ :star :star :star :star

Assessing the talent: Davis could play cornerback or free safety at the next level. His size is very attractive to many schools with a frame that can easily carry 210 to 220 pounds.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 0% Tough to pull him away from the ACC teams. This appears to be Jordan’s territory with Phil Elamassian helping.

Greg Davis in Virginia paper

It's about 1/2 way down, good publicity fpr the Huskers out East.

Huskers offer local. Blue Ridge School cornerback Greg Davis has received his first official scholarship offer ... from Nebraska.According to our BRS source, the Cornhuskers coaches love Davis’ size, speed and technique. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder (4.5 speed), has raised quite a few eyebrows since he was one of the juniors invited to participate in the workouts at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

The Cornhuskers coaches love Davis’ size. Nebraska also was impressed with Davis’ ball-hawking ability as a free safety along with his tenacious hitting.

I'd say out of that group coming in for the OU game , he's the most important recruit, considering how good he is and how bad we need DB's.

Pretty sure this is all Elmassian recruiting here. Coach E has ties back to the Virginia area dating back to his coaching days at JMU, so he has alot of recruiting ties to the area.

Was blown away by the visit. Gave it a 10 and said he got more then he bargained for. Said he can definetly see himself in Husker Red and right now Nebraska has a big lead over NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech. I am not going to be siprised if he commits to NU before he takes his other visits. I think he might take 1 more visit just to make sure, and if that visit doesn't live up to NU standards, he could pull the trigger early before he finishes all his visits.

Odds of becoming a Husker: 45%
