Not only are they 17-18, they’re some of the most athletic people in the country playing the most popular sport. Teenager + everyone telling you how great you are is a recipe for “awful” tweets like “I’m good at sports.”

Who knows if this kid has a good male role model in his life......there are a lot of factors here.

Definitely could use a player like him. Great athlete and SEC schools may overlook him for better players. He has solid film and would be a welcome addition at DB. After Noa, this guy is next for the DB board in my opinion.

They're looking for athletes. They'd take both if they want in.
I think they're both solid DB's and I don't think Fisher locks them in to a position at first.

My feel for this situation was that Nebraska moved on a bit. Jamel dragged his feet on a decision that I believe Nebraska wasn't in the mood to wait for, and now he is sort of showing his cards. Not saying that Nebraska won't still take him, but I just don't think they felt he was good enough to be doing what he was doing with them. Just my thoughts here.
