Damnit, Mav beat me to it. Oh well. According to SI, he'll have three years of eligibility remaining - nothing to sneeze at. Also went to the same HS as Deontai Williams.

Doing some research, apparently he was a safety in HS (and was rated like the #2 S prospect in the country), but Ohio State was playing him at CB? Maybe he just needs to get back to playing safety?

Johnson worth taking a peek at. While most transfers dont work out, a change of scenery and ability to start over from scratch can sometimes reap rewards. Kids get pigeonholed and then respond to those boundaries by meeting those expectations.

Would you rather play for the hardest hitting, fastest, biggest team or against them?

That's why we need depth.  They will miss a half here and there for targeting.

I understand this sentiment and somewhat agree.  However, I would much rather have our football players playing like these guys do than watching Lamar Jackson try to tackle. I like the direction our DBs are going at being more aggressive.  Yes, they need to cut down on the plays where they are flagged and miss playing time.  However, that's better than being not aggressive at all.  We just need good depth so the next man up can fill the spot.

When I see him I see corner but hard to say where the coaches are seeing him.  Played safety in hs.  Either way would love this pick up.

Right at this moment we probably need more at corner, but next year when Williams and Dismuke are gone it might be a different story.

I still wonder if he's wanting to move back to safety, though.
