I think UCF recently landed another big 6’2 corner so I wonder if that actually winds up taking them out of the running for Johnson now that I think about it. I know they were in on him pretty heavily previously. 

Those AAC teams will definitely leverage the portal- as they should. They play good football and most are located in recruiting hot beds (Memphis, Houston, SMU, UCF, USF, Tulane, etc). Perfect use of your 25 newcomers is to grab 15-18 solid local prospects from HS and 5-10 guys in the portal that want to come back home in any given year

 
Well, Tyreke apparently didn't commit on the spot. On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be any news of him visiting other schools, so there's that...

 
Sean Callahan saying he predicts Tyreke Johnson will be a Husker and on campus sooner than later.  We shall see.
