Isn't there an NFL DE with this last name? I can't remember who he plays for, maybe the Giants. It doesn't seem like it's too common of a last name.

James said that he was pretty surprised by Nebraska's scholarship offer and he did watch the Colorado/Nebraska game and liked what he saw. He does like Ron Zook at Illinois but who knows if Zook will be at Illinois for the 2011 season if he has another bad year with the Fighting Illini. James also had some things to say about Northwestern acedemics and coaches and Wisconsin's defensive scheme.

He's being recruited by Marvin Sanders and was suppose to go to the spring game but James was unable to go because of a busy schedule. James is planning on visiting Nebraska in May or June.

I have a feeling that when its all said and done that this kid will have offers from everyone in the big 10, ND and about 30 other schools.

While I happen to think it is hard to pull kids from Chicago (where I grew up), the good thing is there seems to not be a team that they grow up loving in the area. Most are ND fans, but as far as the Illini and Northwestern go, there is not a lot of natural love for those schools. Its not that they hate those schools, its just that they are usually not huge fans growing up.

Hopes to make an official visit for the Texas game.
We might have 75 recruits in for this game! :rollin :ahhhhhhhh :corndance
I am guessing we'll have close to 20 recruits at the game. Probably 10-14 recruits from 2011's class and another 10 or so from 2012 taking unofficials.
Weren't there almost 100 at the Oklahoma game last year? I thought I remembered reading an article it was something like that. There were about 50 at the spring game this year. I'd think 100 isn't a stretch. We'll have at least 10 of our 13 current commits. Another 20-30+ with 2011 offers. I'd guess around 20 2012 recruits, and a few 2013 recruits. Probably 20-30 Nebraska/Midwest guys we are considering as walk ons. Then there will be a lot. I'm sure 5-10 just use it as an excuse to see the game. I'd use up an "official" to see that game from the field.
