To which school will Tobin commit?

He’s stalling for offers he won’t get. Maybe one or two but if he doesn’t play football his senior year, he needs to just deal with moving to Nebraska. USC is not going to offer.

I think he’s gonna take the last spot at DE from Buckley. Leaves us with Savea, Weaver, & Tobin. Tobin may be rated low but he does have a very interesting frame to work with. Not too many kids have a 7 foot wingspan at 6’4. They are gonna finish with some nice pieces to end out this class though.

With the transfer portal options that now exist.. I don't see this at a risk at all. So many 4 star and higher athletes are transferring these days. Seems now, if recruiting competition in the room exists that players not getting the starts just take their talents elsewhere. Frustrating to me so I kind of like the idea of recruiting developmental players. Build the depth. Build the team bond. Build player trust and see the fruits of your labors shine.

I can see the value in that for awhile. Once you start piling up wins we will need to recruit better to get to CFP level
