Well he doesn't have much time after the 9th to decide either.

Actually I know he technically has until April to decide, but I am not sure teams can or will wait that long.

On the other hand, it means he isn’t 100% sold on coming here.

The longer this drags out, the more it favors the home town team imo.

 
To clear things up...

Owa will NOT be announcing at the AA game, he will be announcing BEFORE the AA game. My guess is he doesn't want to make a big flashy deal out of it. Just wants to quietly let it out of the bag to avoid all the attention.

Heard on another board that he will be making his announcement SOMETIME before signing day. Not at the AA game. Could be anytime between now and signing day.

"At first I thought I was going to announce at the Army game," he said, "but I don't think I'm going to do that. I want to make my decision maturely, and not just do it to be on TV and put on a hat. I feel like I might commit before signing day, but I don't know."

I like this kid.

From what I have heard his timeframe is now until signing day.
