My question is why get him HUGE? I'd rather have this kid go from 235 to maybe 250 at the most. Get back to our smaller, quicker DE who can speed rush and run down RB's. I really don't care for defensive tackles playing defensive end position. Ask Barry Turner if he's more productive pushing 275 pounds or back when he was lighter.

BTW I'm very pleased about Riley committing to Nebraska. I think the potential is there for this kid to be great.

 
I think this kid is a hidden gem. I was reading his background this morning and aparently his a very good wrestler. If I remember right, his record is 120-1 or something like that. He has to be a phenominal athlete.

 
Awesome...at this point, we keep who we can. The losses are tough pills to swallow, but unavoidable given the bridges we've burned.

Good to see Riley is on board.

Was at a highschool wrestling meet in Yankton today where several opposing coaches were saying U of Iowa wrestling coaches are in this kids ear.Would he be allowed to multi sport at NU if he wanted to?

Ryan Goodman did both wrestling and football in 2004 before transferring.
