Another situation where you want to tell the kid that these two programs can over-recruit you. You're not going to visit both, and Nebraska will not want you visiting Florida and then coming here. I think he is a good prospect but he's not good enough to just wait it out and insist on these visits like a Fidone could. 

 


I appreciate the "bloom where you're planted" mentality and obviously, especially right now, we all want a bit more player loyalty. I do wonder if he realizes Scott Frost was a transfer player.

 
The transfer portal and actually spending a season at a program and figuring out it wasn't for you are not the same but maybe Buckley can ask Scott Frost about his situation at Stanford if he really needs to know.

Or something.

Nebraska still seems to lead.  Listed Cincinnati, Minnesota, Michigan State, Oregon and Florida State as others he's considering.  

Huskers recruiting him the hardest and "showing him the most love."

Announcing his decision on October 14 (his birthday).

 
Sounds like there may be a change of plans for (I’m guessing) his announcement. Member only thread on 247 board by Allen Trieu with the title change of plans for R. Buckley

of course not lol. I just don't like being dicked around by kids who aren't good enough to do it. I know thats a hypocritical statement, but I'm seeing a kid who doesn't want to be at Nebraska.

I would argue that while the chips haven’t fallen quite yet we are in a lot better place than we were about 3-4 months ago. Savea is probably already in the tank & got a host of other guys we are after. I would rather have DeWeaver than Buckley
