I don’t follow the CB picks at all. I have no idea who these guys are, what part of the country they live in, how they gather info or anything else for that matter.

I just come here to see who we are going after, watch film, and familiarize myself with future Huskers. It’s pretty easy to do and actually quite fun to watch the process.

I could or couldn’t care less about expert picks, when the kids finally sign I’m happy for us.

Thanks everyone for the constant updates and putting it online! Much appreciated!!

i hope we get this kid, he looks good!

I just wish I could get paid on a 25 to 1 horse that I put money on when it had a 3 link lead down the back stretch after I had already bet on the 2 to 3 favorite before the race started.

I don't follow the recruiting sites, I just peruse here and I appreciate all the info provided. What I don't understand is why there is no accountability when a CB is changed. Personally, I think once a Crystal Ball is changed, credit for being correct should be negated. If things are fluid and things happen, why was the CB issued in the first place?

Edit: I think we get Ty and he will be a contributor relatively early. He seems to have a plan for making his choice and I think that demonstrates his intelligence and thoroughness. We need defensive playmakers.

I believe the earlier you put in a CB the more points you get for it.  So if you switch the CB selection right before he announces you will get it right, but not get many points for it.  They get credit for get it right for the percentage correct, but not many points for changing selection right before the recruit commits.

Is it really that serious? What sort of glory and prizes are at stake for whoever has the best prediction rate? Maybe subjecting these guys to sick burns on the internet is all the accountability that is needed.

@Ulty @swmohusker @Lonestar_Husker @ADS and everyone else.

This is not the place to talk about CBs and the pros and cons of the system. Create a new post for it or take it to PMs. Future posts on the topic in this thread will be deleted.

Edit: I'm going to push hard for this getting back on track. That means things like responses to this post will also be deleted/hidden/etc.

So is he announcing and signing the same day? Or will he announce sooner?

So he is a silent commit until he announces on early signing day?

That’s just an egregious use of the N.   With toooo much power comes tooooo much responsibility....  take this mans N ability away.

Well, the day I start to bloviate about any inside information for darn near anything I've probably relapsed and let selfishness and self-centeredness take over again ... so, I'm just having fun here with wishful and hopeful feelings.  If you would have told me today you could have Robinson or Wandale ... I'd actually take this guy.  That isn't to take anything away from today with Wandale committing ... it's just the belief that bringing back the Blackshirts of old is my gut feeling when the "restore the order" is actually accomplished.

My sense is that Robinson is going to be :bigredn:  ... I just have no source.
