Grew up watching his dad and uncles tear it up on the court at Chadron State.  His uncle Josh I believe is still their all time leading scorer, his dad Jason would dunk on anyone and ended up in the top five career scorer I think and younger uncle Jeremy ended up in the top ten as well.  Sucks his dad lost his battle with cancer in 2013.

Plenty of mad athletic talent in that gene pool obviously

And won the Rose Bowl to boot. I agree I don't believe he should be canned. Just enough drama to make Ty want to come here for sure.

Edit: was thinking about the Penn State game. Lost to OSU last year.
