USC is known as "Tailback U"

Penn St as "Linebacker U"

Should NU be known as "Defensive End U"?

Look at the history...our rush ends have been great the last 20 years...even more than that...

Broderick Thomas

Neil Smith

Grant Wistrom

Vanden Bosch

Chris Kelsay

I'm sure there are more...can you guys name some?

Who played opposite of Wistrom in '95?

Trev Alberts should make that list or do we consider him a OLB

Side note, Vanden Bosch had a TD this weekend.
No man, he forced the fumble and the DE on the opposite side scooped it up and took it to the house.

Took it to the house and then made himself look like a complete dumba$$.

Now that Suh is out for awhile can anyone layout the rotation on the defensive line. In other words, in the last game, who spells who and is it typically both DEs together and then spotted rotation amoung tackles or another approach?

I think you have a legitimate claim here, but the name, "Defensive End U" is a bit long and wordy. Think of something snazzy.
