Haha that TE was pulling around thinking he's gonna smack someone and just gets crushed by Honas. Love to see that.
not bad by Honas either. He recognized it pretty quick. Just didn't make the play. A year or two ago whoever would be there probably continues up field taking themselves out of the play.Incredible play by Miller. All the way from the back side. He closed probably 12-13 yards from the time he recognized the play until the RB actually caught the ball.
Read that he was on the field for all 91 plays against PSU.....I know Domann misses on this every once in awhile but most of the time he does an incredible job against zone read.

Yep. And was our highest-graded defensive player per Pro Football Focus. Only Zavier Betts graded higher overall (on 18 plays).
Hard to speculate IMO until he goes through the combine style testing. With him being a tweener, you'd need to project a bit for the next level. Could he retain his athleticism at the next level if he had to bulk into a OLB? I'm just not sure. JoJo's been putting out some good tape thus far so he's definitely going to get a look or two at the next level.Pretty impressive! What are our thoughts on where he would go in the draft? Better yet, he really needs one more year at Nebraska to hone his skill, of course he doesn't.![]()
What a difference a year makes... last season that is a minimum 20 yard gain.Incredible play by Miller. All the way from the back side. He closed probably 12-13 yards from the time he recognized the play until the RB actually caught the ball.
More like a major concern that in year 3 we still do not disguise coverage....Wish we could disguise it to create the mistakes by the QB....The old show them one thing and do another. Time to pull out whatever rabbits we have in our proverbial hat....This is a major issue.
Who are their backups? We are getting thin...So, Honas and Reimer are MLBs this week?
