Yet another HEADS UP play by Dejon Gomes.
Gomes needed that play yesterday, he really struggled covering the slot receivers over the past 2 weeks man on man (Tennell and Meier are great), he got blown up a couple times in the running game, and got abused by Briscoe on his big play.
He has a knack for the ball though, and makes some huge plays. Needs to hit the weights hard next year and get a bit more physical.
Andrew Green is doing pretty well from what i've heard, they considered putting him in at points, and if Dennard wouldn't have been able to play through the shoulder pain, I think they WOULD have pulled his RS.

Yep.. That was a game changer. KU had momentum going in for the TD. Our defense was getting pushed around. Gomes popped that ball out and the D recovered. He made that play. I thought that was HUUUGE.
