haha that was good :clap :clap

speaking of drunk and in a cop car.... last saturday, me and a few friends went to the bar after the game.... a lot of drinks later, someone backed into one of my friends car, we called the cops. after he took the report, he asked how we were going to get home(there was 5 of us). long story short, he gave us a ride. so we all crammed into the car. we tried to get him to whip some kiddies... no go. we pulled out of the parking lot and asked if we could pull someone over... no go... but we were drunk, and kept bugging him, so he turned his lights on for close to half a block.... then we talked him into flooring it for a bit. he did!!! my friend says we got close to 60mph in town, but i don't believe him. i was too drunk to remember.... it was the best start to the football season, EVER.

it was funny, one of my friends was touching his name-tag and badge while he was taking the accident report, and the cop was just laughing it off -my friend does this on a regular basis-. i wish all cops would be like small town cops.

I lost a friend to a drunk driver so I know where you are coming from. But using a joke to illustrate the point may not be the best way to be thought provoking.

I agree with you...I should of just said what I feel. Sorry that you lost your friend..hugs

I deleted my posts....I shouldn't of posted what I said and I should of just said what I felt. If people want to brag on getting in a cops car because their friends car got hit and laugh about what went on in the cops car because they thought what they did and said were funny -because they were drunk....it upsets me big time! I am not the only person who has been affected by drunk drivers. A good friend of mine told me once..."If a person has a head injury or arthritus or something that another person can't see....they don't feel the pain and sorrow that the person has gone through...but..if they see a person with a broken leg or whatever..then they say I am sorry. I don't want sympathy...I just wish people who drink and drive would realize the impact they can have on another person's life or their life-or both for that matter! Head injury people sometimes say things without thinking first and it comes out wrong what they meant to say in the first place and their temper can be bad. I feel very blessed and proud on how far I have come and the accomplishments I have made.

Because I was in a coma because of a drunk driver...I was at this rehab center in Omaha, Nebraska after being in 2 hospitals! This rehab center was very good and patient with me and the staff there helped me alot. It is an EXCELLENT REHAB CENTER and I would highly recommend Quality Living to anyone who has a head injured loved one, etc. Links that are posted below are at the Rehabilation Center I was at and the hospital I was at that saved my life. Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska is a GREAT hospital and I highly recommend it:) The other hospital I was at, was located in Kansas and was very negligent and awful- my family got me out of there!
