Dental/Orthodontic Insurance

Just wondering if any of you know of a good dental and orthodontic plan that will work in Nebraska. I know not all Docs take all plans, but just looking for types that will be able to find Docs using or will accept in the state.Looks my little one will be needing some orthodontic care and possible braces in the future and I want to get started looking at some plans now so I can get on them so they don't deny me b/c I haven't been on the plan long enough when it's time for the care.

Is it better to get dental with orthodontic coverage, or just orthodontic, or a supplemental type plan like an Aflac??

Thanks for any help. And yes, of course I'm looking for plans that are good but also cost effective.

My wife is a teacher so we have dental coverage through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We haven't had to use it a lot and I haven't compared it to any other plans so I don't have a lot of info for you other than to let you know it is available in Nebraska through BC/BS (I'm assuming you can get it on an individual plan as well).
