LINCOLN - Three of the four Nebraska football players not listed on the team's depth chart last week are back for Saturday's game against Southern Mississippi.
The Huskers opened their season Saturday with a 56-17 win over Western Illinois.
NU Coach Bill Callahan said last Tuesday that four players were suspended for the opener against Western Illinois, but he declined to name them. The four players missing from the depth chart were center Richie Incognito, offensive tackle Darren DeLone, I-back David Horne and fullback Grant Miller.
On this week's depth chart, DeLone is No. 3 at right tackle, Horne is No. 4 at I-back and Miller is No. 3 at fullback. Incognito isn't listed again this week. Callahan said last Wednesday Incognito will be suspended indefinitely for repeated violations of team rules.
Chad Sievers, who didn't play Saturday against Western Illinois because of a back injury, remained No. 1 Tuesday at weakside linebacker. Ira Cooper started in Sievers' spot and led the team with 12 tackles. Cooper is listed No. 2 this week at middle linebacker and No. 3 at weakside linebacker.
NU Defensive Coordinator Kevin Cosgrove said Sunday that Sievers wouldn't lose his starting job because of an injury.
No other changes were made on the depth chart with the exception of adding the three players not listed last week.
