Destroy Colorado!!

Special Teams Player
For those of you who think we should coast on to the BIG XII Championship and take Colorado lightly you need to remember some things about Colorado.

Colorado is our primary annual rival, a team that no matter how bad they are or how good our team is they play us tough. They can be 2-10 and we can be 11-0 an d they still have and can take us to overtime. Never take a bad Colorado team lightly.

This year they have nothing to lose and would LOVE nothing more than to embarrass Nebraska and kill their momentum going into the BIG XII Championship game.

You've met the stereotypical Colorado fan, if you've been to Boulder in the last 40 years for a game you might have heard them run their cocky mouths and seen them assault your fellow fans. Lets not forget 4 years ago when they threw projectiles at fans, players and coaches. The past has been filled with poor treatment of Nebraska fans visiting Boulder, something the University has done very little to ever try to curb. Even with all the thrown rocks, poured beer, boligerant statements, and even riots the Colorado fans start. You can rest assured nothing hurts them more in return than a Big fat L, especially a humiliating one. . It's what they deserve and what they should get come Friday!!

Don't look past Colorado!! Go Big Red! Kick em in the head!!!

I love a man who doesn't mind repeating himself. :)

And no, Colorado isn't our rival any more than Missouri or Iowa State. We should get up for them and beat their butts, but let's not feed into the fallacy that they are anywhere near our level.

The Buffs and most of their fans are all clown shoes. Anyone that would throw rocks and debris on their own field is ridiculous and embarrassing. The Skers will roll CU even if they are looking ahead to the big game against the Shlonghorns.

GO BIG RED!!!!

Interesting posters on this topic. An "anime club" guy and a "pornhusker" with the Misfits logo as an avatar. I guess there's no parity in Husker Nation.

It takes all kinds to make Husker Nation. I can tell you I'm in the minority among other "Anime Club Guys." "Most" of them consider WOW or D&D sports and could give a damn about football.

I know I'm just a n00b but....are you 60? Who cares what my name is..or whats on my avatar? It's mine. I've been a part of the husker nation for 35 years. The three things I'm most passionate about are music, my GF, and husker football. I'm a drummer and I know plenty of musicians that are die hard Husker fans. If we have show on game-day we all wear husker red.

So....basically...get over yourself. :)

I would say that Colorado is more of a rival than Iowa State. Colorado always plays NU tough and their fans are downright hostile when we visit there. I would hate for us to lose to Colorado a lot more than to Iowa State or Missouri.

Hell, who am I kidding? I hate Colorado. I would rather lose every game of the year, with the exception of trouncing Colorado in Colorado, then lose all the other B12 games combined.

I have never been to Boulder to watch a Husker game, so I'm clueless in this regard...

Do you think the altitude will play a big factor in the game?

I assumed Boulder is somewhere in the mountains, but idk.

Yes, it's in the mountains.

Well Francis, I was merely stating that we had some diversity in a relatively new post.

So....basically...settle down.
