1st half was ugly, 2nd was much better.Me reading this thread: damn how far are they down?
Me watching the game: just keep extending that lead.

Worster was ugly all night.Maybe sprinkle in a positive or two when they are winning even though it's ugly.
Are you suggesting Rollie's getting Worster?1st half - 35%, 29 pts, 10 TOs
2nd half - 47% for the game, 40 pts, 2 TOs

He's got an "old guy at the gym" kind of game. If he can get into the lane, he will use about 12 different moves to score but if you make him shoot from outside you win.1st half - 35%, 29 pts, 10 TOs

He does that against sub par teams. He has been awful against average DI competition. Big 10 PGs are going to eat him up.He's got an "old guy at the gym" kind of game. If he can get into the lane, he will use about 12 different moves to score but if you make him shoot from outside you win.
He does a pretty good job of getting the offense going, but they really need Ulis' ankle to heal. Neither of them can shoot, but Ulis plays much faster and has better handles.
I get your point, but he did OK against Indiana & Creighton (not so good against St Mary's & Michigan St).He does that against sub par teams. He has been awful against average DI competition. Big 10 PGs are going to eat him up.
Agree on Ulis!I get your point, but he did OK against Indiana & Creighton (not so good against St Mary's & Michigan St).
I wouldn't be surprised to see Ulis as the starter by the end of the season. Neither is going to make jump shots, but Ulis is definitely quicker.
no one has bothered to post the score. guess i have to give espn scoreboard a click if i want to know the score.
Watch the recap, his def. last night was horrible. I don't care what his stats are. We have played 2 Big 10 teams. I said he was fine against inferior talent. Hope I'm wrong, but I think he will be an issue against future opponents.Worster is currently 3rd on the team in defensive win shares...ahead of Sam, btw...he is also 4th on the team in defensive +/-...ahead of Gary and a full point ahead of ulis.
Is he a great shooter, no...I feel like everyone knows that. But he's not as bad as some of you make him out to be. At least analytically speaking he's played above average defense.
Offensively he's legitimately playing like his career stats show...if you're clamoring for ulis, we have bigger problems. I think they both do a good job...they also both have warts. Both of them are liabilities shooting the ball from range.
Fwiw ulis has an overall +/- of -4.2 this year, Worsters overall is -.7. Both far from exceptional.
