Griffin was a 6'1 - 205 DB before Frost showed up at UCF. After a spring and summer with Frost's staff he weighed in at 213, was moved to LB and finished the season with 11.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss.
I don't think anybody is saying Dixon will put up those numbers, but there are certainly similarities to their past positions and body types. Dixon is the type of player the staff wants at the outside linebacker position.
