DJ in Practice

Practice as you play.

Are they planning on playing this crap over the crowd noise during a game?

What happens when they go on the road?

As said before, this is just another gimmick. Some are trying it see if they can gain an edge. That is all. Agree or disagree with doing it, but it is a gimmick nonetheless. Some will keep doing it, others will say it was a stupid idea and waste of time and axe the idea.

A DJ can bring more than just a song to practice. A DJ can up the tempo of a song, or slow it down, get the players in the right mindset, and also control the volume. Something a CD player can't do.

I think this is a great thing, and I could see this rubbing off onto other Universities. I think if your guys are out there, busting their asses, learning and having fun doing it, it will instill a lot more of what they learned, into their brains.

Ok, I didn't realize I had to be technical. I thought some would just get the concept, that a DJ has the volume control at the tip of his finger, and get cued from the coach on when to cut it, rather than a coach having a player run to the CD player to turn it down, or him get in range with a remote. The "Something a CD player can't do", had more to do with the WHOLE paragraph I typed out, not just that once sentence.

And that's not even taking into account crossfaders! ;) I got your back Nick.

We've had the Bea Lab out at practice for years. This is nothing new...
