Do we make it to a bowl game this year?

Sure, this team can go to a bowl game...but they better buy their tickets now if they all want to sit together.

After the hire I posted that coaching changes usually result in a not so good record first year. Several members here emphatically stated that I was wrong and 10 wins should be expected based on the schedule. Where are those guys now?

If the play calling stays the same and the mistakes are not addressed....NO....no bowl this season.

However, if Riley stops being stubborn and starts using the talent on this team the way it was designed to be used, then there are some obvious wins and maybe a couple of upsets and they could make a bowl. But I have to say, from what I've seen in the first few games, nice guy Riley is just as stubborn as bad guy Bo. He just isn't as in your face about it.

If we anrt playing in the playoff why even care if we go to a bowl game? Just my opinion.
I respect how you feel, but 6 or 7 wins feels a lot better than 2. And I'd like to see our Seniors (if we have any?) get rewarded with some kind of bowl, even if it's a "crappy" one. They have been through a lot.

Probably not. Perhaps 5W-7L or even 4W-8L.

Bad teams find a way to lose .... our players or coaches or both? And no killer instincts. Keep in mind, Illini was way below elite teams, plus Ferguson-less. My pre-warning sign, barely beat low life S.Miss. game.

Anyway, good reading. Some sarcasms (I think) but ......

When he posted that on 10/1, it was kinda funny sarcasm. Today, not so much. Now it sounds like inspired truth.
