Do you think Callahan called halfback pass because

good call..but those guys were biting the run like crazy... thats defiantely something to think about when we play them in december...*knock on wood*

I think we have been setting this play up all season long. I am glad that we used it yesterday rather than when we are up 14 against OSU.

What surprised me most about the play call, was that just a few plays before that we did a double reverse. I was very fired up as the only Husker fan in a Minnesota Gopher bar when Lucky made the pass. I've got a feeling we might be seeing more and more trick plays that BC has been setting up all year long. Just as long as they don't backfire, I will be happy.

Didnt that Gopher bar recognize Swift? The prize of Hutchinson! Great catch too! :thumbs

That was the tightest spiral thrown all day, and he even had gloves on. It was a perfect throw. Hats off to ML!

Great plays and you have to wonder with all of the "conservative play calling" throughout the year if Callahan is going to be unleashing some game changing moments over the next few games!!!! This man has so many plays in his head that we don't know about that it would probably shock us all!!!! :thumbs

I was thinking the same thing after watching the double reverse and Lucky's throw. I don't think we have seen half of what Callahan has in his play book. Give him two more recruiting classes and he and Coz will be the talk of the Big 12. I just hope we can get a q/b that will stick around for 4 yrs and learn this system. Once Coz gets the db's he needs, we will be able to match up with the top receivers. He had a great game plan against Texas and really helped the db's in that game. His defensive play calling has to be a little watered down with Bowman out and a couple of other players he was counting on. You don't go four deep at d/b and safety and they can step right in and not miss a beat. I only see this program moving up.

GBR!!!
