Dobson to Vandy

Excellent news...well except for the Vandy players. Sorry, guys.
Anything specific u didn't like about him? Our guys all seemed to test very well at the next level. (Besides Marcel jones).
Well, the incredibly high amounts of injuries each season suggested there was a problem.

Now, perhaps it was mere bad luck, and Dobson was a fine S&C. We'll have to see if the injury issue changes.

I wish him well regardless, he was just trying to do his job.

Most of the injuries were ligament injuries or concussions, which you can't really do anything to prevent.

Yep...... Still the injuries the last few years suggested that maybe something we were doing was wrong. Many players looked soft as well. Not sure if all of this was Dobson's fault. The culture and work ethic are very much in question IMHO.

Just repeating what Foreman said in his podcast. It drove him crazy all the times that backs and receivers would tap out after a long run. He said, "I don't think they [the players] really understood how hard you have to work." or words to that effect.

Dobson is solid. He didn't make a D-Line stand like a scarecrow in front the opposing O-Line. He wasn't in charge of tackling drills or placekicking. He didn't start his D2 level nephew at center.

If he can figure out how to prevent knee injuries everyone will want him. Best of luck to him.

As much culture as anything. Not terribly surprising after today.
