International Man of Mystery
Cox likely to succeed Webster as men's hoops assistant
Nebraska men's basketball coach Doc Sadler said Tuesday he has chosen an assistant coach to succeed Tracy Webster.

Sadler wouldn't reveal a name, saying the university first needs to complete its background check before he could make an official hire.

But a source with ties to the program said in a text that "I would put my money on Jeremy Cox," referring to the current South Florida assistant who has connections to Sadler.

TampaBay.com confirmed it.

Sounds like this is Doc's new recruiting guy.

We'll see how this turns out, but I actually think Doc's last 3 hires (I'm including this last one assuming he pans out) have been very good hires. Without having seen this year's recruits play an actual game, it appears Webster and Flannigan have improved Doc's recruiting (best class since Doc's first year) and this guy sounds like he'll be able to add to that PLUS DEVELOP those players, something that has been a glaring weakness thus far in Doc's program.
