I am so sick and tired of Jeff Kent and JD Drew sitting in the middle of a good lineup and simply not playing hard. Or like today, playing stupid and ciosting the Dodgers a game. Anyone who saw that abortion those two overpaid shitheads call baserunning know what I mean. Coupled with Drew's 3 strikeouts and Kent being grossly out of position for a double play ball that instead knocked the in the winning runs and I am drinking away the pain. :madash :bang

I suppose I can that uber tool moneyball whore Paul Depodesta for even bringing those two wastes to LA. Kent, Drew, I hope you die. :boxosoap :rant

 
More fury than I have to offer on the subject at this time, but my sentiments exactly. Money Ball. Give a heapin' helpin' of money to an over the hill second baseman who is oft injured and a ton of money to a guy who has never really lived up to his hype and has only played 1 full season. With that said, Drew had a good year this year, but still. Oh well, gotta take 3 of 4 now.

 
Im sorry, JD Drew did not have a good year this year. A cleanup hitter who makes what he makes needs to produce more than 85 rbi and less than 20 HR's.

Simply put, Depo ruined this team last year and everyone he added hurt us. Hopefully Kuo will come up big against Glavine (who has sucked in the postseason) and we can let Maddux put us in the lead

Let me dream and imagine that Jeff Kent and JD Drew are not clogging basepaths with false hustle for the Dodgers. They would have so much f'ing money to go and get players who produce and would ROLL everyone in the NL.

Please beat the Mets and shut thier OldSpice drenched fans in thier own shitstain stadium with thier purple seats next to the bad airport in NY

 
Been a Dodger fan since I was in Tee-Ball. Happened to be the same year Gibson hit his homerun.

I think the Dodgers should get rid of that lazy limping bestarde called Jeff Kent. IMO Maddux was a good get because of his post season experience. Hopefully the Dog's get it turned around and beat the Mets, so I can at least watch one of the gamesd this week.

You miss Lo Duca? I miss PIAZZA! Guy had to be the worst catcher, but he sure could hit. Drew didn't necessarily earn $12 million this season, but he was relatively healthy and played decent. The last 15 years the Dodgers have thrown good money after bad at free agents. It all started with Strawberry.

I too like the Maddux pickup, it gave the team a shot of confidence.

 
Man I miss those guys, but Martin is the the NL's premier catcher for the next decade. He gun stealers, turned this pitching staff around, hits in the clutch and he's a rookie. So since he's a catcher, I think the Dodgers are legally bound to trade him.

If Kuo comes through tonight (0.00 era against the MEts this year) and we get Maddux in LA, I'll feel alot better

 
I've got the game on, not really paying attention to it. I would like LA to win, but I'm being conservatively optimistic. But I'll be sleeping before the game's over.

 
Yuck.

Way to show up top of the lineup. Granted, Glavine was awarded strikes if he got it all the way to the catcher without bouncing it, but jesus tapdancing christ please HIT THE f'ing BALL> YOU ONLY LED THE NL IN HITTING.

But I'm optomistic, all we need now is for Greg Maddux to find a time machine, Penny to channel Orel Hershiser, and something freaky to happen in Shea. Good times.
