Does Nebraska need to go back to the Big 12

Walk-on
Just looking at it from an on the field issue (as I know Nebraska has gotten a lot of off the field rewards for being in the Big 10) do the Huskers need to try to get back into the Big 12? Nebraska is never really going to be able to compete for recruits with the top tier programs of the Big 10 as like it or not Nebraska is stuck in the middle of nowhere and despite having a couple decades of great success they still don't have the history that many of the teams in the Big 10 have. Also when they left the Big 12 they fell off the radar of many of those Texas recruits that would see them play when they were playing Oklahoma and the Texas schools. Now instead of being one of the main places the Texas highschool kids think about going they are one of the last Big 10 schools kids think about going. No matter what opinion you have on the Big 12 matter you can't really get around the fact that Nebraska had better teams when they were in the Big 12 than they have had since they left.

That is a possibility but really that is Nebraska's own fault that they have had a downgrade in coaching. They fired very successful coaches just because they weren't able to bring them a natty. Heck the least amount of wins Bo had in a season was 9. No need to even bring up Frank Solich as firing him was probably the worst move the Nebraska football program has ever made.

I see a lot of threads on this site that talk about what can turn this thing around. Well probably one of the main things is that Nebraska fans need to get over themselves and finally accept that they simply aren't a program that can win national titles any longer.

IF we get this thing turned around, can you imagine the amount of flack we would get nationally if we limp back to the B12 with our tail between our legs? Rightfully so

We would NEVER get recognition for any good season.

Can’t wait til our team is good and our coaches figure it out. it’ll happen #2021

Iowa St, Ok St, and the Baylor/K-State’s of the world have a run only because of the vacuum Nebraska left behind. We were the only power that kept texass and OU in check. Now we gone and OU will have like 6 conf trophies in a row

are we good right now? No. But don’t beg us to return cuz no one will stop the OU/Texass train. We warned ya.

I’d rather struggle to gain something than be soft on being given something.
