Doesnt life

30% humidity!!!! Hell that's nothing..................our humidity is going to be at 76% today. Highs are supposed to be around 92 or 93. Iowa sucks for humidity!!!!
Try living in Arkansas. I used to think it was hot living in Omaha during the summers. And it was - the temperature could get close to what it gets in Arkansas. But the humidity? Nebraska can't touch it. And Iowa is similar - used to visit family there in the '60s. Believe me, BRI, you're luckier than you know when it comes to that part of it.
I'm close to moving out of this state though because last winter was one of the hardest I've ever been through in my 28 years in this state. This spring sucked with all the rain and this summer has been really bad for rain as well. I told my wife if this next winter is as bad as lasts was I'm moving with or without her. She would move if she had to, but she wouldn't be thrilled about it.

Projected to be 107 today in OKC. Did you get your AC fixed HSKRNOKC? A guy I work with said his went out Friday sometime and it wouldn't be until today before it was fixed.

This year really has been awful for Iowa. I'm in southern Iowa and every 2 weeks we've either had a flood, ice storm, or surging humidity/heat for about a year now. Hasn't been pleasant for too long in a row, just a few days here and there.

Yeah, it's really getting old. I just have to work at my current department for two more years and I can do a lateral transfer to pretty much anywhere.

I remember a few bike rides to Branched Oak Lake NW of Lincoln in 100+ temps and 100% humidity.

Actually, the Humidity out here reached the mid 80% range with 110deg temps a couple weeks ago.

It's getting so my nipples get so hard when I'm in a 70degree room (at work) they hurt. :cry

I can't believe my Brother put a bid on a mansion in Tampa Bay last week to retire in..
