And we figuratively understood that Trump was the option who would take a hard line on stopping illegal immigration. You know like building a wall, doing a end run around Congress, and doing what he could to stop it; to the detriment of those profiting off the status quo (Mexico and now Central America).
Trump could say " there is no global warming, this is the coldest year in history" and be totally authentic. Because we know his stance against the climate change racket and Trump is sticking to his principles unlike so many hypocrites.Trump: Global warming is a hoax perpetrated by the chinese!
Trump Supporters: Global warming is a hoax perpetrated by the chinese!
Trump: I never said global warming is a chinese hoax
Supporters: He's never said that.
Trump: Global warming is probably real it seems like there's probably something going on there
Critics: Okay but Trump literally said it was a hoax perpetrated by the chinese
Supporters: lol please you didn't REALLY think that he actually meant that did you?
How can you be authentic saying something that is completely false? Authentically stupid I guessTrump could say " there is no global warming, this is the coldest year in history" and be totally authentic. Because we know his stance against the climate change racket and Trump is sticking to his principles unlike so many hypocrites.
Hilary could say "this is a hot sunny day here in Lincoln" and have no credibility with those wearing shorts outside at her Lincoln rally.
Do you get why? It has nothing to do with a thermometer.

Wait okay just so we're clear. You're acknowledging that your defense of Trump is that he's factually wrong and/or lying but that it's ok because his lies or misinformation kind of consistently support his spouted beliefs, even if his beliefs are wrong?
So like...if I believe that homosexuality is a sin, and I really truly believe it, it won't matter if I send my son to electroshock conversion therapy or make up arguments about how nobody is born gay or ignore all scientific consensus about sexual orientation? Even if my gay kid commits suicide that's excusable because damnit I'm sticking to my real principled and firm stance that being gay is wrong.
Also just out of curiosity,
Was Trump sticking to his guns when he was a Democrat or when he switched to being a Republican?
Was he sticking to his guns when he inexplicably stopped being pro choice and became pro life for no apparent reason?
Is he sticking to his "law and order" principles with his flip flop softening on some crime sentences?
How about in '99 when Trump said he was "very liberal when it comes to health care" and that he believes in "universal healthcare." compared to now?
I don't even have the time to ask about the dozens and dozens of people that he's championed as good, loyal, great humans, great at their jobs, etc., only to say the exact opposite as soon as they turned on him or he turned on them.
Where's the principle stuck to on this timeline:
• 2009 when he signed a letter supporting urgent climate action and supporting Obama's initiatives?
• 2012 when he said global warming was created by the Chinese to break U.S. manufacturing?
• 2014 when Trump donated actual money to Protect Our Winters, an advocacy group towards positive climate action?
• 2016 when one of his golf clubs in Ireland inquired about building a sea wall to guard against the dangers of sea level rise and “more frequent storm events.”
• 2016 when Trump flat out denied (lied) about previously calling global warming a hoax. “I did not, I did not,” he said. “I do not say that.”
• 2018 when he said "I don’t think it’s a hoax. But I don’t know that it’s manmade."
• 2018 when he didn't believe his own administration's federal report warning of the economic consequences of climate change?
This is only like.... half of the times he's offered inconsistent or lying accounts. Not sure what the principle is that he's standing for - unless it's maybe just looking out for himself and being an opportunist, because he is very principly committed to that I'd say.
This is pure lunacy, and it is what is wrong with politics. The reason why for you even though you won't admit it is because Trump ran with an R by his name. Clinton is no more fake or a liar than Trump, and she's actually quite a bit less of a liar than Trump is. I find her to be extremely fake (but not moreso than Trump) but the incidence of her just spouting off outright lies doesn't even approach Trump.
I know that. The request that president Trump was that NATO countries sped the 2% of their own GDP on their OWN defense. The whole reason this is important is that when these countries don't do that, then NATO is exposed when they have defense needs which NATO by treaty is obligated to help with their defense. By making the individual countries stronger NATO is not as exposed and never are the it's members. To me Germany and Italy are slackers at this point.BlitzFirst said:Those aren't NATO fundings dude...those are defense expenditures of each country...it's not a chart of how much each country donates to NATO. From the PDF linked to the chart:
The amounts represent payments by a national government actually made, or to be made, during the course of the fiscal year to meet the needs of its (own) armed forces, those of Allies or of the Alliance
I'm sure that talking point came right off a leftist funded website. Do you know how much past presidents took time off. Difference is Trump works were ever he is at and usually does the business of the nation at his properties. You can certainly have your opinion, your mind is made up, I just see it as anything he does, good or bad, it sour grapes to many people. A MAJORITY of people have no problem with how President Trump is performing. And yes we should look back. We need an accurate view of the past, which we are still trying to get about what happened with the spying on the Trump Campaign from 2015 and later the Trump Administration into 2017 by rouge elements left over from the Obama Administration. Who gave the orders and directions to attempt this coup of taking down a duly elected POTUS. I think many in government and the DC swamp have the full story, and the next 6 months should be quite reveling and surprising to many!I don't care about past presidents, I care about this one. Draining the swamp? Please! He has brought how many criminals along with him? Appointed how many unqualified officials? He is adding to the swamp at a record pace. Enough with this he is rich so out of the good of his heart he became president. Do you know how many days he has spent at Trump properties since being elected? Do you know how many times foriegn officials have stayed at Trump properties since he has taken office? He is still making money from his hotels and resorts. This is egregious corruption and you are fine with it because thats politics? Its all good because Trump is draining the swamp? Who has he drained out?
Please provide one honest statement from Trump regarding his policies and politics. I'll be waiting. The normal fake politician claims to have found religion or evolved when he flip flops. Trump is the only one who told the truth "I played the game because I had to" and supported Ds because he worked in a one party blue town. That's why political chat is usually and endless tennis game accusations. If the great leaders were rising from the grave as someone suggested, they would universally tell Trump to stop speaking his mind. I cannot think of any major politician who so often and so loudly voiced his thoughts.
Odd, Trump is obviously too honest to be President and nobody outside his inner circle admits it.
Landlord that is your opinion, just like I could stand just about anything Obama did. To me Obama was a huge radical that set up an avenue to making our country a socialist nation, just what the deep state, new world order, US Chamber of Commerce wanted. This is not what our country has ever wanted, yet Obama drove it right down our throats. See that's how a huge part of our country felt about him, where did your stand? I ask because I don't know!Trump is more brazenly willing to speak his mind in some situations.
Trouble is,
a lot of those situations his mind is just wrong even if he's expressing it accurately.
And a lot of others he's a liar who isn't being honest in the way you think he always is (he isn't).
And a lot of others he is being honest but it's about something awful. Like grabbing women by the pu&&y. Or hating black people counting his money and only wanting Jews to do it. Or his bragging and self aggrandizing about wealth (I'm assuming you're a Catholic, right? Jesus had a lot to say about being rich). Or demonizing/insulting immigrants seeking asylum, or combat veterans, or muslims, or whoever gets in his way.
And a lot of others he's transcended even lying to the point of not really saying anything at all despite throwing lots of sequences of words together.
I'm 100% here for a new era of honesty and transparency when it comes to our elected leaders and am sick of the status quo. It seems like you think you are too but if you think Trump is that breath of fresh air you've been tragically deceived. You're even admitting that he's just as bad as all the other politicians you seem to disdain. You're also even admitting that you'd side with him being wrong or lying on principle than somebody else telling the truth without credibility. Like, I'm not even doing anything or accusing you of anything here - you're personally of your own volition revealing to all of us without any help that you've had the wool pulled over your eyes. It's pretty insane.
