Don't like the Longhorn Network?

Hey guys, this is a page that my buddy and I created a day ago, and we've seen an outstanding turnout thus far. If you agree that the LHN is unfair, and gives them an unfair advantage from a recruiting standpoint, we ask that you "like" this page.

Besides, I know that we both hate Texas..

But seriously, this is more than that. This effects every NCAA school in the country. When Texas shows recruits on TV, it puts all other schools at a huge disadvantage heard. I've been trying to spread this across the country so that everyone is aware of the unfairness of this Network. I appreciate the support. Hopefully the info on the page is helpful.

 
Not worth my time. Maybe you and your school should have thought about that when you were busy backstabbing NU. I hope the LHN drives the B12 right into the ground and implodes in fantastic fashion. Watching the forgotten 5 scatter like cockroaches clamoring for life vests from the likes of the MAC, CUSA, WAC and MWC is going to be the greatest day of my life. Peace.

Tell us, why should we care? We're gone, we're off to better pastures, and we tried to warn you guys (other Big XII schools) where Texas was taking that conference.

 
Not only is the Longhorn Network debacle hilarious, but practically the fulfillment of prophecy. Backing Texas is like living in someone else's house. Whatever team you represent––and it really doesn't matter––you belong to Texas now, just like your commissioner and your conference. You lost all chance to a co-equal share of something the day you threw in with them. As for Nebraska and its fans, this is the part where we get to say we told you so, and you get to live with the consequences. Best you can hope for is someone throws you a life raft when the collapse happens.

Enjoy your time, however short, in the Texas Conference.

 
Unfair advantage crap? You can only sign 25 players. Even as it is they have all the talent in the world at their disposal yet 5 - 7 last year and 1 national championship. Yes having a network is no good for those that cant have one themselves but they have the clout, nerve, and money to pull it off.

 
All of this and then some. Youre on your own now, pull down your pants, bend over, and like it.

OK...when "he" and "his school" were "backstabbing" Nebraska?

 
I don't have a problem with LHN as how it was originally proposed. If ESPN wants to overpay for meager tier-3 rights then good for Texas. The problem came when ESPN/LHN tried to air high school games and dragging conference games over to LHN without that conference-team's say-so. Fortunately the kibosh was put on both.
