Heh, I just dug up some old threads of this "formerfan", and after reading just two of them I'm thoroughly exhausted. What a windbag.

BTW what did he ultimately get banned for?

Primarily, thread derailment and trolling. There wasn't a topic that he didn't derail to an argument about the coaches, and he often wrote posts that were trolling - just designed to get a rise. We gave him, literally, a couple of years. It's one reason we are far more stringent regarding those issues.

I joined the board shortly before he was finally banned and I can tell you it was a great move on the mods part!!!! :thumbs

FF was started a lot of $hit on the board. I disagreed with most he said, but every once in awhile he made some sense. What irritated the crap out of me was his constant diversions from the topic and his abilitlity to ALWAYS bring the topic to Solich vs. Callahan. Benard on the other hand.......HOLY sh#t!!!!! He is a douchebag!!!

Without the search function working, just how are us "newbies" s'posed to enjoy all the nominees?

The onliest one I remember reading was IBR..I thought he was tame compared to 5-6 I still see on-board.

By far..The worst I've seen besides half of the posters on a certain KSU board, would be Gino from theGatorboard..His personal insults directed at me were hilarious..A few of them didn't even involve my Sister or an ear of Corn...Almost made me blow snot out my tear ducts a couple of times..I Always seemed to get in the last word, though so maybe I belong in Somebody's HOF?

Well, it seems that so far all we have had nominated is members of this board and if that is what it is limited to then this nomination will be off-base.

To derail a thread or promote thread drift is one thing but to derail the entire athletic department is another thing entirely.
