I'm saying even though I would love to have this guy on our D-line it is better to err on the side of academic integrity.
If he really wanted to be here he could always take a class that would count and just wait until fall to show up.
It sounds like there was more than just grades to this but even if it was just grades I have no problem with admissions holding the line.

There is no need to panic, we have two very solid DTs in this class. Along with the young talent we have right now. A juco was more of a luxury than a pressing need at this point.

I agree the Juco DT was more just for building up some depth after all of the injuries.
