I think in Stewart Mandel's latest mailbag he said something about this. He said that Pete Carroll appealed Jarrett's suspension right away and that Stoops could have done the same thing, but STOOPS chose to kick Bonehead off the team rather than have the NCAA look into it.

:yeah And the NCAA will still probably look into the whole AD situation. It will be interesting to see in the coming years if the NCAA makes a hard push for USC.

I find it interesting that Bomar receives $18,000 in cash benefits and gets the boot, Jarrett receives $18,000 in rent benefits and he'll miss no games. WTH??
