Dylan Raiola

Oh, and then one other thing. The over/under for the game that I kept seeing was 47.5. The final score was 30-27.

So just using some simple deduction this then means that we scored roughly 7-10 more points than Vegas thought we would.

Our fans should give a lot of credit to Michigan's defense and also quite a bit of credit to our offense for putting up 351 yards and 27 points, IMO.

Then add to the fact that we missed a field goal, as well.
5.75

Just imagine good N Oline to succeed with a pocket passer. In reality, Raiola’s talents are wasted at Nebraska. Need development and coaching.

Look at Curt Cignetti and Bret Bielema staffs ..... two years ago or so, Hoosiers and Illini was kinda weak. Now both Top25 rankings .....

The irony is his talents are being wasted largely due to the ineptitude of his uncle. Nepo hire babbyyyyyyyy

We left 3 points on the field the first drive on the 4th and 2, and we lost another 4 points when the WR ran out the back of the end zone and we settled for a field goal. We were so close to winning this game.

I’m still optimistic our Oline can get something worked out to help Raiola. Many teams have done so in a relatively short time span

As much as there is an issue here, at the same time, Michigan has a very talented defensive line, and will likely be the most elite unit we face all season. We didn't play up to our full potential on the OL (see Rhule's postgame comments), so with some better focus and lesser competition, I'm optimistic about the rest of this season and being able to put this performance behind us.

Totally agree. Can I add to it, because I thought they had hard hitters and good tackling from the secondary. Plus tight coverage in man. When they played zone or quarters DR was able to take shots down field to Hunter, Key and Barney.

I'm glad when DR makes the proper decision to check down to Lindenmeyer & Haarberg and Running backs when he doesn't feel comfortable with tight coverage. A safe short pass can produce 5 yards. And that's better than interceptions, with a Farve mentality of firing it and taking yolo shots.

The more reps they get as a unit the better. Swapping LT every other drive doesn’t help the rest of the group much either I would guess.
Those are hard knock reps going against M dline tho. I’m sure Donnie would like someone to step up at LT, for whatever reason they ain’t clearly. Maybe try some strongly worded encouragement? I sure came up with some newly acquired language skills Saturday evening

I have one majour beef with Raiola for the most part- he has to learn to burn the ball when there is nothing there. He must stop taking coverage sacks.

I still don't know that I have seen him drive the ball w force down the field but that pass above and the hail mary makes me think he has the ability to do it, we just haven't seen it yet.

GO BIG RED!!!!!!!

He definitely can - he whips this close to 50 yards in the air pretty effortlessly moving forward but without setting up. I'd like to see more of this, it was Key 1 on 1 downfield with a true freshman DB. It looked bad live because Key just stopped running.
