The EA SPORTS Elite 11 kicks off this Monday, July 25th in Southern California and will be attended by a dozen of the top quarterback prospects in the Class of 2006

This will be the seventh year of the combination competition/camp, which has developed into the premier quarterback event in the nation., boasting alumni such as Matt Leinart, Chris Leak and Vince Young.

Appears Josh did pretty good at the camp. He won an accuracy contest that was a bit controversial. Apparently you have to call out the targets you hit as you hit them, and when he called out "17" some of the other guys didn't believe it, so they had a sudden-death type finish and Freeman beat Tebow. Josh was also quoted as saying he finished 2nd or 3rd in most of the other contests except for arm strength, and feels he was the best overall QB there. He said he didn't take it as serious as "Timmy Tebow" and that he wanted to have some fun while he was there. I read this stuff on rivals.

You don't need the big, strong armed guys to make this offense work (i.e., Jeff Garcia and Joe Montana), although a bit more zip on those out patters never hurt. ;)

 
I am so glad we didn't get Tim Tebow. He is the most arrogant and cocky HS QB I have seen in yrs. I saw that video of him arguing that he thinks Josh cheated and he made me sick to my stomach. :bang

He got into an actual verbal argument with Josh about him cheating and it was on video?

I take it this is premium video off Rivals or is it free to watch?

I remember two years ago ESPN had this camp on TV. It was like an hour special or something. Does anyone know if they will be doing that this year?

 
over on the ESPN Nebraska board, that video is posted, so I don't think it is a premium video...good video, check it out, and listen to little timmy the cry baby.

 
turns out they had two QB's with 17's...Freeman beat some kid, i'm not sure of his name, but I believe his first name was Isaiah?
