Early point spread out of Vegas has Clemson favored.

The Huskers are 3-point underdogs. I'm a little surprised but bring it on.

we open as 3-point underdogs.. almost a month before the game, it will swing back to our favor as gameday approaches.

I figured it'd be a three points or less . . . but I had no idea who would be favored.

And lol at you guys saying, "Good," or "I'd rather be the underdog." It's such a small margin that it can't even really be used for motivation. If one team was favored by ten, now THAT would be something to write home about.

I think so too. Clemson typically plays up to or down to their opponent - but it is hard to say that will continue under the new coach. We blew out USC Jr. but that usually happens anyway.

It may have something to do with the Clemson fan base being considerably closer than Lincoln which could give Clemson an advantage with the crowd. Even though NU may be considered the "home" team, the crowd may very well consist of more Clemson fans than NU fans.

If they're running a 2 1/2 pt. line on the game means that LVSC is actually giving the Huskers more weight than I thought they would with the suspect secondary play and all.

I don't know if Roxy still sets the lines in Vegas, but 2 and a hook is pretty good. I thought we might start off as a 4 1/2 or 5 point dog as they have under valued the Huskers all year. Looks like Vegas is starting to take notice of the good play as of late.

If I was a betting man, I'd buy it up to 3 and drop a nickle on it.

Sarge, you have the lingo down sir! I no longer bet (I have enough addictions already) but I do follow a service to assist me with my 'friendly' pool of experts that we toss a little money in and talk smack on the private message board. We have members from several Big XII schools and usually have some Pac 10 players, not this year.

My service shows the 'teaser line (offered to the professionals before going public)' had NU - 1. So, yes we are getting some respect from the insiders.
