Eddie George, landscape arch?

Watching the BiG network and there was a show on tOSU (Nebraska you get to have these too, starting in July) and they tell me that Eddie George was the landscape architect on the new Ohio Union building, I thought that was really interesting; aside from being super-sweet at football (see Heisman and NFL career) and owning a restaurant in Columbus he is also a landscape architect; good dude.

 
Um.... Eddie George and Heisman don't go together so well in these parts.

Tommy was good, no doubt about it, but Eddie, in his Heisman year, was unstoppable.

And it'll be a fun debate in the week prior to October 8. There are good arguments on both sides.

Unfortunately, Eddie has the hardware. But Tommie has the trophy. Push?

Too bad the Heisman is given out before the bowl games. Tommie would have won in a landslide with his performance in the Fiesta Bowl.

yeah :) I'll take it as a push for now, the trophies are nicer to have.

 
I think the biggest reason Tommie didn't win was because of the supporting cast around him. But I always thought the Heisman went to the best player on the best team. <_<

 
Not to mention Tommie Fraizer won his 3rd straight National Title MVP award and rushed for 199 yards including a 75yd TD while breaking 7 tackles in the 95' Championship game on........GRASS!!!

 
I know this will be unpopular, but The Run by Tommie is hardly his defining moment. The Florida defense had pretty much given up at that point in the game, and all Tommie did was shrug off some half-hearted arm tackles. It gets a lot of press because it came at the end of an epic beatdown, but if you're looking for defining moments, that's not one of them.

Tommie's 75-yard run is at the end of this highlight reel. I would argue his 31-yard run shown immediately prior to that run was far better - the defense was fresh, the game was still in doubt, and they were still giving their utmost to stop him... they just couldn't.

Despite the circumstances of that run, it's still damn fun to watch :lol:

How about those god-awful all white uniforms at the beginning of that video? :( We lost to Iowa freakin' State!
