I’m not advocating for this for everyone. But, the best teacher I had in HS whacked my knuckles so hard I remember the pain to this day. I’m still good friends with him.

This will do absolutely nothing.  Teachers aren’t scared of the DOJ.  We are more terrified of crazy parents and social media.  Those aren’t going away.

This is so true.

Here are some ideas I have...

1.  Any email a parent sends a teacher, good/bad/asking a question, it doesn't matter.  It is posted on the school website for anyone to see.

2.  Any email without an actual name, gets no response from a teacher.  So "SoccerMom1234" doesn't get a reply.

3.  To serve on the school board you either must have a degree in education and/or work as a sub, once a week, during the school year.

If the federal government wanted to build a framework of curriculum for states to follow and ensure it is, why did they close down the department that does that?

These people are horrible at this!

 
this idiot never read the declaration.   it is basically a declaration of war....not love and unity

would also like to have a reporter read the list of grievances from these "government critics" without mentioning that they are from the declaration of independence and ask him for his opinions.    i doubt they could get through the list before he storms out
