Bo isn't the only "good guy" available to coach at NU.

But he's the one we have. It's so discouraging that you can't get that.

I could have a different car if I wanted, but I'm still lucky to have mine. It hasn't been perfect but it's been good to me. Same goes for my house, same goes for my friends, same goes for pretty much everything actually.

So is it that you really illogically have that much of a disdain for Bo Pelini that drives you to not make any sense when otherwise you are a pretty rational dude, or is it that you are just incapable of appreciating what you have in any area of life?

You aren't lucky to have your car. You earned it and likely bought the nicest one you thought you could.

And you probably have a plan in place to improve your standing where you could get a nicer car, house etc.

And I also think NU has a similar thing going on with Bo. It's bad business to say "we hate him, sure hope he goes 3-8"

You seem to have a hard time seeing the view from someones eyes who doesn't like Bo and doesn't want him to be our coach. It's quite simple really. If you don't like Bo or think he's a good coach, you wouldn't just accept the fact that he's the one we have, you would want better. I'm not saying that's where I'm at, but I'm saying it's not a complicated theory to believe there are people that either don't like Bo or expect better results from a HC at Nebraska. Polo might think your car is a jalopy and find you very unlucky to be stuck in that car. Polo may think your house is a slumlords palace. Polo may think your friends resemble hobo's with little to no math or grammar skills. It doesn't make his thoughts illogical, it makes them different from you. It means he perceives things in another way, differing from yours. You seem to condescend to people who view things differently than you. It doesn't make you right about this, it doesn't make you wrong about this. It means you disagree and as much as you want Polo to acknowledge your point of view, you must realize you are hardly doing the same for him.
Not speaking for Polo, he can speak for himself. It's just my observation.

luck has nothing to do with anything here. it is simply business. all of it. bo makes a lot and we expect a lot.

To come full circle with this, why isn't Polo or even myself on LOMS, QMany, TheSker, Saunders and whomever else's ignore list? why keep letting this stuff bug you so much? You must realize by now that these attempts to somehow convince Polo that Bo is a great coach are useless. Me personally, I'm not all the way off the Bo wagon yet, but I'm hanging on by the fingertips. This year is the year for me. I see no excuses that would be considered valid, God forbid any really key injuries.

Either way, if your looking for agreement, high fiving, butt slapping, hugs and kisses from your pals that agree with everything you say, then there's a reason there an ignore function in this site.

The Only person who wanted Nebraska to lose games was Husker 99 & 5 other anonymous folks. Husker99 is gone but my quetion remains: You do know Bo is being retained this season right? Like unless he REALLY does something messed up this summer he will be our coach for 2014. Debate whether you personally want him or not all you want but like it or not he will be our coach this year.

Nobody wants to win 9 and lose 4 forever, just like nobody ever wants to do worse than that. This could/should be a big year. The AD supports Bo and at the end of the day, and thats what makes the difference.

LOMS seems to be the only one committed (insane) enough to go back through the history of the board and see how many unanswered questions I've had with some of you fellas. I expect a 3 page report by the end of June. If you think I am going to commit that kind of time, I can tell you I doubt it. I took the time on my lunch break to find the one example already. You not only never answered Polo's question, but you didn't respond to the questions I had in the example above. You know....? the example you're not even giving me credit for? Instead, your response was "bullsh#t!" Prove it!...... Which I think is quite proof enough of the point I was making really.

That's simply not true.

I'm not assuming all opinions are valid, I'm simply stating that opinions will always vary depending on where you are standing. Kind of like witnessing a car accident. If I'm on one side of the highway, your on the other, we may see the exact same accident but have two different opinions on who caused it. Or maybe that's a bad analogy. Like I said, I don't think it's a complicated thing unless you are just used to people agreeing with your every word in your daily life. If that's the case, kudos to you sir.

Also, I don't think Polo has ever really said anything too outlandish. He's not pulling things out of thin air. Bo has struggled. We haven't done as well as many thought we would have by now. We need to get better. Bo may not be the guy to get us where we want to be. I would have never thought a "defensive guru" would own six of Nebraska's ten all time worst defensive performances. These things are all valid criticisms IMO.

Bo is not a great course, Bo is a coach learning his job. May payoff this year, may not. Nothing that has happened in the past 6 years indicates it will change much.

Most on this board, expected to be back in the MNC hunt the first year Bo was here. We would win the Big 12 every year, and we would bomb through the week Big 10 due to his recruiting and the speed we had.

These have all been stated since the day he got here. Half truths at best. So those that say Bo is the best we can expect I feel are wrong. Those that say Bo is the worst, I feel are wrong. He is a middle of the road coach, with a fan base that expects excellence. He has not delivered and some of us have began to accept where we are. Not being a bottom feeder, not being a top 10 team. We are at a cross road this year. Must be much better in every aspect for some to be happy, others just want to see improvement. Some just want him gone.
