You have to remember that it was May and Blackledge giving these "Nostradamus" like predictions. You know, the Bevis and Butthead of college football commentators. While we are talking about ESPN and the Huskers...
Did anyone see the ESPN Championsip Series on TV last night? Well if you didn't know they are predicting the whole season and last night they started with the conference championship. Texas and Nebraska were for the Big 12 and of course they gave us no chance. They pretty much said Texas would walk away with it. Also, Texas was undefeated at this point 13-0 in the season so that means they would beat us twice next season. Am I the only one that thinks we will give Texas a run for their money next year? It blows my mind that these guys don't even stop to talk about us competeing with them, they just say Texas easily wins this one.
Those are probally more important games for us to win than beating USC and Texas in our quest to Restore the Order. Beating USC and Texas will not mean hardly anything if we turn around and lose to the likes of Iowa State and Kansas.Getting road wins at Iowa State and Kansas State will do much to RESTORE THE ORDER!!
Yeah these two always go out on a limb with their predictions :sarcasmYou have to remember that it was May and Blackledge giving these "Nostradamus" like predictions. You know, the Bevis and Butthead of college football commentators. While we are talking about ESPN and the Huskers...

:hmmm ESPN, like other major networks, like to blow smoke up the a$$ of the current 'hero' image. It's nothing personal, even. :hmmmAlso, Texas was undefeated at this point 13-0 in the season so that means they would beat us twice next season.
